OMB Grants Comments Analysis

Look at those lovely OMB grants docket comment analytics courtesy of Abigail Haddad. It appears all comments are posted!

Just a quick update on the OMB grants docket: look at this beautiful website courtesy of Abigal Haddad: https://omb-comments.abigailhaddad.com/!

Analytics, glorious analytics!

Reminder: August 24 is the deadline to submit comments on the NSF proposed changes to the PAPPG.

Note! It appears that all OMB comments have been posted, so you can link to your OMB comment in your NSF comment if you like! Search for your tracking number or your name to get your comment id and link. E.g., Search: mrg-km4y-f5z4 pulled up my comment; from here, I can see that my OMB Comment ID is OMB-2026-0034-142457. Regs dot gov is nicely built so you can just append your comment ID to www.regulations.gov/comment/ for the permalink!

You can see that your comment ID is also part of the permalink to your comment, in case you want to send it to your Congresspeople...

Math nerd observation: The first derivative of the number of posted comments (as a function of time) is an interesting discussion topic. (So is the delta between comment submission date and post date.) Discussion prompt: "At what point do you think OMB gave up on reading the comments?"
